Why have a Professional

Wedding Photographer ??

Because of the increase in new digital cameras of 20 to 40 mega pixels, many a relative will say, ‘’ I’ll do your photographs for you’’ or would you choose a student photographer just out of college?? to do it cheap??. the answer should be No.. ‘’I will use a Professional Photographer with many years of experience,’’ who can handle people, and help plan the day you dreamed of, guarantee excellent results, and like the comments I have had in the past, ‘’we didn’t know you were there’’. One wedding I did the bride rang me up frantically saying, ‘’did the photographs come out’’ , I said why ?? and her reply was ‘’everyone took photographs with different cameras, film and digital and none have come out !!. My reply was ‘’I have all your wonderful photographs for the day and all is well’’.

Digital or Film, something to

Consider ??….

All of these photographs have been taken on 120 professional film which not only gives a better full frame but captures all the colours, especially the pastel colours in true detail. Film is sharper and does not have the ‘pixelation’ that digital has. Digital is ok for normal pictures, but for large prints, film is better. There are very few digital wedding photographers that own cameras that equal film as these run into the thousands of pounds to own!. ( just a digital back alone for a Pro. Hassleblad cost’s over £5,000 ). Also, film is good for ‘archiveing’ and will keep, in the right conditions, for many hundreds of years, yet digital losses some of it’s properties when copied or moved, and you can by accident lose them !. It’s worth remembering, Cinema / Film Production still uses film because of the qualities that can’t be replaced by digital means.
MANY PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHERS BECOME ONE OF YOUR FRIENDLY ORGANISERS FOR YOUR DAY (But don’t let them take over !!)
